Faces of the Market
Faces were happy for Saturday’s Maker’s Market in Atlanta with its 9 a.m. start and five hours of open time until closing at 2 p.m.
The event is a once-a-quarter local market meaning the goods to be shown will have come from makers within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta.
Thus, vendors, farmers, makers, and bakers with items handmade, homemade and homegrown are featured. Upwards of 80 vendors met the public for this market with everyone enjoying walking and talking to one another.
At this market, one takes one’s time to look at the many items not to be seen in the big, box stores.
One of the main reasons for dropping by the Maker’s Market is the opportunity to greet friends and neighbors and discover what they are doing with their hobby. Often times it is amazing, pleasing and worth a smile. Here are four smilers the photographer noticed on this day.
