Eastern Cass County School Retirees Award Scholarships

The Eastern Cass County School Retirees Association met on May 10 and presented the annual scholarship awards to six graduating students in Atlanta, Bloomburg, McLeod and Queen City High Schools. The association has presented $73,000 in scholarships to seniors in the four school districts since 1998. This year six scholarships for $700 each were presented to Carson Dillinger and Cooper McClure from Atlanta High; Katie Mote from Bloomburg High; Ella Lambeth from McLeod High; and Camryn Allen and Alyssa Pierce from Queen City High. The recipients spoke to the members about their future plans. A luncheon was served to those in attendance.
