Early bird registration begins for Glow Run

Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce announced earlybird registration for their most popular 5k run of the year, The 2019 Glow Run.

The Glow run is slated for 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 12, Chamber members announced on Facebook.

The price to register for the glow-in-the-dark event is $25 until August 31, when the price increases to $30, according to the event registration page at runsignup.com.

Participants are asked to dress in bright, visible clothing during the 5k, since it will be held at night. Chamber memebers encourage runners to wear as much glow gear as possible to be safe.

Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 5k, which features a a lighted, glow in the dark course.

“We are really proud to put on an awesome family friendly race,” AACC posted. “Competitive runners and fun/run participants are all welcome. Strollers are allowed, but due to the nature of the race, we ask that no dogs be on the course.”
