Dowd presents granddaughter’s book to library

Ruby Dowd presented to Linden Public Library a copy of her granddaughter Kacy Dowd Tillman’s new book.

Stripped and Script is the documented story of female loyalist writers during the time surrounding the American Revolution.

Dr. Tillman is associate professor of English at the University of Tampa and is widely acclaimed for her expertise in women writers’ contributions to America’s literary history.

She is the daughter of Judge Don and Mary Dowd of Linden.
