Democrats, Republicans prepare for May run-off

Run-off elections will be held Tuesday, May 26, for the Democratic Primary and Republican Primary.

Voters will hit the poles to decide between candidates for three races in the Democratic run-off and four races in the Republican run-off election.

On the ballot for the Tuesday, May 26, run-off elections are:

Democratic Run-Off United States Representative, District 1 - Yolanda R. Prince - Dax Alexander Lieutenant Governor - Marcos Isaias Velez - Vikki Goodwin

Attorney General - Nathan Johnson - Joe Jaworski

Republican Run-Off United States Senator - Ken Paxton - John Cornyn

Attorney General - Mayes Middleton - Chip Roy Railroad Commissioner - Jim Wright - Bo French

Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3 - Thomas Smith - Alison Fox Election Day voting will place from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the following locations: Linden – Voting Building, located at 227 East Rush St.

Hughes Springs – Community Center, located on First Street.

Atlanta – North East Texas Property Management Building, located at the corner of Texas highways 77 and 43.

Queen City – QC City Hall, 601 Loop 236.
