DA announces April sentences in court-at-law
Courtney Golden, criminal district attorney, releases the following information on cases disposed of in the Cass County Courtat- Law for the month of April, with Gary Albertson as presiding judge.
- Aaron Matthew Ellis, 34, of Grapeland, duty on striking fixture on highway/landscape; sentenced to two days in county jail and to pay $225 in court cost.
- Joshua Ray Hanson, 43, of Texarkana, Ark., theft of property, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, attempted tampering with physical evidence and two counts possession of a controlled substance; sentenced to two years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division for attempted tampering with physical evidence and eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division for each of the other charges, to run concurrently, and to pay $485 in court cost.
- Christopher Craig Sullivan, 28, of Atlanta, assault causing bodily injury/family violence; sentenced to 270 days in county jail (probation revoked) and to pay a $1,500 fine and $185 in court cost.
- Raymond Graham Bowman, 65, of Lodi, theft of property and bail jumping/failure to appear; sentenced to a two-year term in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division and a fiveyear term in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division (probation revoked), to run concurrently, to pay a total of $2,000 in fines and pay $412 in court costs.
- Justus Jerome Davis, 37, of Atlanta, burglar of a vehicle and driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level greater than or equal to 0.15; sentenced to two 180-day terms in county jail, to run concurrently, and to pay $2,436.26 in fines and $485.74 in court costs.
- Nicholas Gage Mooneyham, 28, of Atlanta, assault causing bodily injury/family violence; sentenced to 14 days in county jail and pay $300 in court cost.
- Robera Deon Blalock, 56, of Atlanta, theft of property less than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions; sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and to pay $410 in court cost.
- Cory Jacob Butterfield, 31, of Hughes Springs, possession of a controlled substance; sentenced to 12 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division and to pay $410 in court cost.
- Rick Ensin Comstock, 42, of Atlanta, driving while intoxicated- subsequent offense; sentenced to 20 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and to pay $525 in court cost.
- Rickey Shawn Davis, 50, of Malvern, Ark., possession of a controlled substance; sentenced to 12 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division (probation revoked).
- Tristian Ray Callaway, 27, of Mineola, evading arrest/detention and assault causing bodily injury/family violence; sentenced to two 210-day terms in county jail (probation revoked), to run concurrently, and to pay $2,500 in fines and $1,180 in court costs.
- Roger Dale Eaves III, 22, of Bloomburg, driving while intoxicated; sentenced to 90 days in jail (probation revoked) and to pay $362 in court cost.
- Ryan Allen Nutt, 50, of Glenwood, Ark., terroristic threat of family/household; sentenced to three days in county jail and to pay $225 in court cost.
- Wrangler Shawn-Allen Price, 31, of Linden, unlawful possession of a firearm by felon; sentenced to eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and to pay $410 in court cost.
- Kapreesha Tashinique Price, 23, of Texarkana, resisting arrest/search/transport and burglary of vehicles; sentenced to two 180-day terms in county jail, to run concurrently, and to pay $225 in court cost.
- Raymond Donte McCauley, 39, of Atlanta, assault causing bodily injury/family violence; sentenced to 120 days in county jail and to pay $225 in court cost.
- Phillip Ray Hatley, 59, of Douglassville, evading arrest/detention, criminal trespass of a habitation and theft of property; sentenced to two 180-day terms in county jail and a 90-day term in county jail, to run concurrently, and to pay $485 in court cost.
Community Supervision Sentences
- Jeffrey Wayne Vest, 48, of Bivins, driving while intoxicated-subsequent; sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division (suspended), 10 years community supervision, to pay a $2,000 fine, $60 in restitution and $525 in court cost.
- Jose Guido-Flores, 33, of Jacksonville, Ark., driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level greater than or equal to 0.15; sentenced to six months deferred adjudication, to pay a $2,000 fine and pay $325 in court cost.
- Dekayla Marie Underwood, 34, of Atlanta, bail jumping/failure to appear, theft of a firearm and two counts possession of a controlled substance; sentenced to three twoyear terms in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail Division (suspended) and a 10-year term in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division (suspended), three five-year terms and a seven-year term community supervision, to run concurrently, and to pay $4,000 in fines, $180 in restitution, and pay $410 in court cost.
- Sidney Lyman Madewell, 34, of Atlanta, driving while intoxicated- second offense; sentenced to 365 days county jail (suspended), 15 months community supervision, and to pay a $1,500 fine and $340 in court cost.
- Sean Duffy Barrett, 36, of Texarkana, driving while intoxicated; sentenced to 180 days in county jail (suspended), 12 months community supervision, to pay a $1,500 fine and $340 in court cost.
- Erica Ann Nelson, 34, of Daingerfield, unlawful installation of a tracking device; sentenced to 365 days in county jail (suspended), 12 months community supervision, to pay a $2,000 fine and to pay $225 in court cost.
- Jacob Lee Tucker, 31, of Linden, driving while intoxicated-second offense; sentenced to 365 days in county jail (suspended), 24 months community supervision, and to pay a $2,000 fine and $340 in court cost.
