COVID-19 Update

As of Friday, Sept. 4, Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 1,005 positive COVID-19 cases, with 508 recoveries and 71 deaths. There are currently 426 active cases being traced in Bowie County.

Cass County has a total 261 cases with 215 recovered and 12 deaths. Cass County currently has 34 active cases.

School districts in Cass County have reported the following since the start of the 2020-2021 school year and as of Friday, Sept. 4.

Atlanta ISD reports a total of eight positive cases. Queen City ISD reports a total of one positive case. Queen City ISD reports a total of one positive case. McLeod ISD reports a total of eight positive cases. Linden-Kildare CISD reports a total of one positive case. Bloomburg ISD reports a total of two positive cases. Hughes Springs ISD reports a total of two positive cases. Avinger ISD has no positive cases.
