Christus St. Michael Atlanta annual Christmas tree silent auction

The CHRISTUS St. Michael Atlanta Foundation annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction fundraiser is back for 2020. Decorated trees are on display at various businesses in Atlanta and Queen City, and bidding is now open at the various locations.

Trees decorated by the following businesses are located at Price Hardware: The Copper Pine, State Bank of DeKalb, Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce, United Country Realty, Price Hardware, Cornerstone Title and Queen City High School Interact Club.

Merle Norman is hosting a display of trees decorated by Atlanta Floral, CSMHA Nursing Administration and Ashley Bryant Boutique. Atlanta Athletics and Images Salon decorated trees and are displaying the trees in their storefronts.

Delicious Delights Café in Queen City is displaying trees decorated by Queen City Floral, City National Bank and NextHome Realty. Hummingbird Flower and Gift is also displaying their tree at their business location.

Bidding on each tree starts at $25 and can be increased in whole dollar increments.

Area residents should note bidding on trees loated in Atlanta will close at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov 8, during the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Holiday Open House. Bidding on trees located in Queen City will close at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. Winners will be contacted as soon as the auction ends to claim their prizes.

“This is my favorite time of the year, but Covid-19 has drastically changed our traditional holiday plans and activities,” said Melissa Kimble, Development Coordinator for CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital-Atlanta. ‘We are so thankful to our area businesses for decorating the trees and providing the space to display them for our auction.”

“The involvement of area residents is vital to the success of this CHRISTUS St. Michael Atlanta Foundation endeavor, and we are grateful our community is joining in once again to keep this annual tradition alive and well,” said Brett Kinman, Administrator, CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital-Atlanta. “In addition to being a fun event, the Christmas Tree Silent Auction raises funds that support services, programs and new equipment for your local hospital.”
