Chamber Wrap
The 2022 Glow Run 5K is slated for Saturday following the 6 p.m. Monster Mile, said Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce President Jill Crocker.
“We are glowing with excitement,” Crocker said. “This is glow run week.”
Crocker said there will be two more ribbon cuttings coming to promote chamber members.
Thursday from 11-2 p.m. Crocker asks residents to join chamber members at Stor Mor, 1901 W. Main Street to enjoy a taco lunch, with a five percent discount on all sales. Stor Mor is owned by Conner Martin, she said.
Friday chamber members will meet at Overcomers Nutrition at 10 a.m. at 613 U.S. Highway 59 in Queen City.
“We are honored to have the owner, Casey, as a new chamber member,” Crocker said. “Enjoy great deals and her wonderful tea and shakes.”
Crocker said chamber members are excited about Saturday’s upcoming Glow Run 5K and Monster Mile.
“Folks, this is more than a run, it’s a party,” Crocker said. “Complete with black lights, neon clothes and disco music.”
“This is a huge event. Thank you to our sponsors for making this event happen,” Crocker added.
Crocker reminds residents that the Chamber of Commerce Scarecrow Contest deadline for entries is approaching on October 27.
“You need to let us know if you are participating,” Crocker said. “Currently, we have no entries.”
Crocker said you can follow the chamber on social media for up to date information or stop by the chamber office. If you would like to join the chamber stop by the office.
