Chamber welcomes Knox

Kelsey Knox is the newest member of the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce team, and will serve as the Events & Communications Assistant. Kelsey received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Middle Tennessee State University. She has worked in the natural resources field for the past ten years, with a focus on education and community outreach. Most notably, she worked as the Park Interpreter for Caddo Lake and Atlanta State Parks for four years, before moving to North Texas to fill the role of Education & Outreach Coordinator for the City of Frisco’s Parks & Recreation Department.

Kelsey and her husband, Sam, are excited to return to East Texas where they are closer to her stepchildren and in-laws. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, completing jigsaw puzzles, and walking her rescue dog, Petey.

Kelsey is excited to dive into her new position with the Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys meeting new people, planning events, and designing flyers and social media campaigns. She looks forward to using her skills to support and strengthen her local community. Swing by the Chamber on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays to say “hi”!
