Chamber hosts ‘A Western Night’

The Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual chamber banquet. This year the theme was titled “A Western Night in East Texas”.

Those who attended were treated to barbecue and all the “fixins”, along with country music courtesy of Ricky Blaydes, Eric Conner, and Jerry Watkins.

Many of those who attended the event were dressed in western wear.

Winners of the event were: Youth of the Year, Jackson Dillinger from Atlanta ISD; Educator of the Year, Mandi Stringer from Queen City ISD; Man of the Year, Chuck Flint from Flint’s Furniture and Business of the Year, Cass County Fitness.

Pictured with Jill Crocker, above, is the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year, Carolyn Lance.

Lance is a retired teacher, and an advocate for retired teachers, she is also a member of the Republican Women.
