Cass County is Hiring

Dispatcher - A dispatcher receives calls for service or assistance from the public; communicates orders to direct appropriate services to the given address; relays instructions and/or questions to/from responding units.

Assistant Veterans Service Officer - Housing For Heroes Program - Provides in-person meetings to determine eligibility and need for participation in the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Housing for Texas Hero’s (H4TX) Grant; coordinate with county offices and outside agencies to connect veterans with services.

Jailer - MALE - Detention officers provide supervision of inmates at the Cass County Jail including, but not limited to, hourly checks on inmate welfare, distribution of prescribed medications, distribution of meals, pickup and delivery of inmate laundry, supervision of inmate recreation time and searching newly booked and work release inmates.

Deputy District Clerk - The District Clerk Deputy Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties in support of District Clerk’s Office operations; prepares courtroom and/or other types of legal documentation; and provides customer service to the public.
