On October 5, 2020 at approximately 5:05 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were notified of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of SH8 and FM 995 in Cass County about five miles south of Douglasville. Preliminary investigation indicates a 2009 Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound on SH 8.
