Caddo Lake feature film looking for locals to cast

A new feature film, tentatively known as Untitled Caddo Lake Film, about Caddo Lake is being produced by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, etc.) and award-winning directors, Celine Held and Logan George of ELO FILMS are looking for locals from the East Texas and Shreveport area to audition.

Held and George are dedicated to the authentic portrayal of the community around Caddo Lake. Therefore, they are looking for anyone interested, regardless of any acting experience.

Currently, there are Open Calls posted in Overton, TX, Marshall, TX, and Shreveport, LA. The Open Call for Overton is scheduled for Aug. 26 from 1:30 p.m – 6:30 p.m. at the McMillan Memorial Library. Marshall’s Open Call will take place Aug. 28, at the Marshall Public Library. Information on the Open Call at Shreveport has yet to be posted.

The film features over 40 paid, speaking roles and most will only take a day or two of filming, so anyone—regardless of age or gender—interested in auditioning should submit a casting call form to https://caddocasting.com. Those interested can also email caddocasting@gmail.com.
