Wong earns recognition
The Duke University Talent Identification Program (commonly referred to as Duke TIP) is a gifted education program based at Duke University.
Founded in 1980 as one of the first pre-collegiate studies programs offered by an American university, the program aims to identify gifted students in grades four through twelve and provide advanced educational opportunities, as well as social and emotional support.
In the 2019-2020 school year, several seventh grade students were identified to be part of this program and participate in taking the ACT test.
Of those students, Vincent Wong, was recognized with his score in at least one area of the ACT test. His exceptional score earned him state recognition with the Duke TIP Program.
