Bench donated to honor an original donor

Several family members and friends gathered together to dedicate a bench in honor or Samuel Colby Jackson, who donated the first acres to Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. Among the attendees were John L. Barrington, Nina Schwab, Sandi Zbranek, Jodi Shafor, Jami May, and Sunni Moseley, and all are descendants of Samuel Colby Jackson. Jackson had the desire to build a pavilion for the cemetery but became ill.
