Behold, I give you Power and Authority

Power is the ability or capacity to act or perform effectively:

Authority is the right and power to command, enforce laws, exact obedience, determine or judge.

Why do we act like we have No Power? Why do we act like there’s not a God in heaven! Why do we act like the Spirit of God in us, can’t do anything. We’ve got to get ourselves out of the way, so the Lord can have his way. Why can’t we just know that the Word of the Lord is true!

That’s why the Word says...Pray for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

We need that same faith today, we don’t know from one day to the next what we will face in this world. We can’t fall out, or have a meltdown over everything that happens. We are supposed to have our eyes on Jesus, then we won’t fall out. We should know that we are a Child of God!

Luke 4:32, And they were astonished at his doctrine, for his word was with power. 36. And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, what a word is this! For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Luke 9:1, Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases.

He didn’t leave any devil out! But gave POWER over ALL devils!!!

Lord restore our faith and confidence, that we will allow him to work the power of God through us!

Matthew 7:29, For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

The Lord said, I give this power and authority to you, power over all the power of the enemy!

Luke 10:19, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

We need to walk in the promise that God has given us!

Mark 16:18, They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Who is “They” that the Lord is talking about? V. 16, HE THAT BELIEVES!!

He that believes that God is able, that God is powerful, that God has all authority, and has placed that same power and authority in his children by the Holy Ghost!

Whatever is hindering us from doing Gods will, we need to find out what that hindrance is, and get it removed.

St. John 1:12, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons (children) of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Faith, believing in God in all things! We’ve got the Power in the name of Jesus!

Nothing shall by any means hurt us! Take authority over the enemy in your life!

1 Corinthians 4:20, For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Remember the words of our Lord...Behold, I give you power and authority!
