Atlanta Homecoming 2024
Jamarion is the 18-year-old son of China Webster and Ben Austin and is the grandson of Darlene Webster and the late Melvin Webster.
Jamarion is a member of AHS varsity football and basketball teams. He was named to the All-District team in 2023 for football. Jamarion is also a member of the AHS track and field team.
His hobbies include chilling with the villains, playing basketball, being with his girlfriend and working to push past extraordinary limits.
Jamarion’s future plans include earning his diploma and completing CDL training to obtain his CDL license. He aims to work for a Texas trucking company and eventually become an owner-operator.
CARLAJAH ADGER
Carlajah is the 17-year-old daughter of Nickie Armstong-Fontenot / Carlos Adger / Jarmarcus Fontenot and is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Regina Richardson and Climmie Adger.
She attends Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and her hobbies include playing volleyball, basketball, softball and cheer. Carlajah also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
She has been on the varsity volleyball team for four years, varsity basketball team for four years, an AHS softball member for four years and a member of AHS cheer.
She was named All-American Cheerleader her junior year and was also nominated to the NCA staff. She also received MVP Defensive Volleyball Player.
Carlajah’s future plans after High School are to attend college and play softball while pursuing a nursing degree.
Peyton is the 17-year-old son of Kenneth Harrison and Samantha Wilbanks and is the grandson of Sammy and Cindy Wilbanks and Curtis Harrison, Sr. and Patsy Harrison.
Peyton has attended youth groups and church at the First Baptist Church of Linden, and enjoys riding four wheelers, hanging with friends and taking road trips to Dallas with his mom.
As a four-year high school athlete, Peyton has started as the varsity quarterback for the past three years. He has received First Team All-District honors both his sophomore and junior year and currently holds the record for school passing yards in a game and single season passing touchdowns.
Peyton has played varsity baseball since freshman year as a first baseman, pitcher and outfielder.
During his high school career he has received Honorable Mention, Second Team All-District and First Team All-District First Baseman.
Peyton also made the Texas High School Baseball’s list of top 10 players in 3A for the most triples in a season and received Scoop Texas 3A All-State Honorable Mention First Baseman for 2024.
He plans to attend college to play baseball or football while obtaining a degree in business.
EMMA ALLEN
Emma is the 17-year-old daughter of Clint and Andrea Allen and is the granddaughter of Joe and Charlotte Allen and Melva Walker and the late B.A. Walker and Fred Lunsford.
Emma attends First Baptist Atlanta and her hobbies include getting sweet treats with Mireya and Jaxon, antique shopping with Amber, traveling, fishing with Olivia, watching sunsets, and going on runs with the best Cross Country team.
Emma is the Executive President of AHS Student Council and participates in cross country, cheer, theatre, UIL Spelling, UIL Poetry and Prose and dance, through which she performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
She is an All-American Cheerleader, a member of National Honor Society, has received all A’s every year of high school, and is a two-time Voice of Democracy Essay finalist.
She has run twice at the UIL State Cross Country Championships and has competed at the National Level with cheer.
After high school, Emma plans to attend Texas State University and major in public relations with a double minor in political communication and journalism. After receiving her undergrad degree, she plans to attend law school.
Marcellous is the 17-year-old son of Deandra Burns and Cazzie Kirk. He would also like to mention his second Mother India Richardson.
He is the grandson of the late Joe Walker, Marilyn Kirk, Margaret Brown Gilliam and Yvette Thomas.
Marcellous attends Thomas Street Baptist Church and enjoys going to church, playing football, playing games with the guys, annoying my girlfriend, listening to music and chilling with the villains.
He is currently a varsity football player; he was a bronze medalist at the 2023 State Marching contest with BBBFRL (Sousa player). He is a member of AHS STUCO, the power lifting team and was an All-District offensive lineman for the 2023 football season.
Marcellous plans to go to college and continue to play football at the next level. Marcellous will also study to get his bachelor’s degree in social work.
JALIYAH BROWN
Jaliyah is the 17-year-old daughter of Marcus Brown and the late Detrick Oliver Brown.
She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Brown, the late Derrick Brown, the late Dianne Oliver and the late Raymond Oliver.
Jaliyah is a member of Thomas Street Baptist Church and First Baptist Church, and her hobbies include spending her time shopping and sleeping, spending time with her family and friends, going to church, spending time with her teammates and coaches, especially on the bus rides to games and tournaments.
Jaliyah also loves to give Coach Waddell and Coach Bransford a hard time, any chance she gets but they both know she loves them dearly even when she side-eyes them.
Jaliyah loves spending time with her boyfriend, even when he is annoying her. Jaliyah’s favorite memories have been the playoff games in Dallas during her freshman and sophomore years.
She has been a member of the varsity volleyball team for four years, where she has been the captain for two years, has been part of the Varsity Basketball team for four years as well as the Track Team for three years and was a part of the BBFRL (as a trumpet player) for three years, where they placed third in the UIL state marching contest her junior year.
Jaliyah has also been a part of AHS Student Council for four years, where she has been Class Vice President for three years, is also a Student Athletic Trainer for the football team and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Her future plans include attending college, wherever God leads her, and play volleyball at the collegiate level. While playing volleyball, she plans on getting her degree in nursing and becoming a Pediatric Nurse.
Aidan is the 17-year-old son of Jarrod and Lindsey Boston and is the grandson of the late Jerry and late Marie Boston and Joe and Elaine Johnson.
Aidan attends First Baptist Church of Atlanta and enjoys playing video games, playing basketball, traveling, spending time with his girlfriend, Annemarie, and hanging out with the boys: Chase, Henry, and Easton.
He has been a member of the varsity basketball team all four years of high school. He was voted First Team All-District as a freshman and Offensive MVP his sophomore and junior years. He also was the district high jump champ the last two years in a row and the bronze medalist at regionals.
While he has not made a final decision on where he will attend, he would like to play basketball or compete in the high jump at a university. He plans on majoring in Business.
BRAYLIE JO DURMON
Braylie Jo is the 17-year-old daughter of Brandon Durmon and Stacie Smith, and is the granddaughter of Kimberly and Darrell Crump, Susie and Harry Olivella and Elizabeth and Jason Boyd.
She is a Piney Grove Baptist Church member, where she enjoys singing with her grandmother Kim Crump since she was a little girl. She and her friends hold a student-led bible study within the community.
In her free time, she attends and teaches yoga classes at Texarkana Yoga. Braylie enjoys photography, late nights in the hot tub at the Hanners, trying new recipes, traveling around with Annemarie, tanning and eating crawfish with Jordan, road trips to see Andrew, shopping with Mimi and talking politics with her dad. Since middle school she has enjoyed making funny and viral Tik Toks with her friends and family.
Braylie is a cheerleader for the Atlanta varsity cheer team as well as a competition cheerleader for Flip-NCheer Ignite where she spends most her days by Miss Krystal Dawn’s side. She was awarded an All-American cheerleading nomination at NCA camp numerous years and Braylie has been an active member of the student council and yearbook.
She was a member of the cx debate team, softball team and theatre. Braylie has been competing in pageants since she was a little girl earning titles and scholarships.
After high school, Braylie hopes to attend Texas Christian University to obtain a degree in Nutrition Science and eventually become a holistic nutritionist. After starting a career, she hopes to travel around the world and eventually start a family.
MARKEYLIN BATTON
Markeylin is the 18-year-old son of Ivy Simington and Marcus Batton and is the grandson of Teledeo and Ivory Simington.
Markeylin attends First Baptist Church in Atlanta and enjoys playing video games, riding horses and chilling with his family and homeboys.
He has been a varsity football player since his freshman year and has earned First Team All-District honors in football for multiple seasons. Additionally, he is a member of the AHS track and field team, where he competed in the sprint relay at the State UIL Meet.
Markeylin plans to attend college and major in business. He also aspires to play football in the NFL.
BOSTON GRAF
Boston is the 17-year-old daughter of Corey and Laronda Graf and is the granddaughter of Ronnie and Lorinda Clark and Bill and Reva Graf.
She attends Oak Grove Church of Christ and she enjoys spending time with her friends Amelia and Kailee at the Peace’s house, and late-night Sonic trips with Ayush, Amber and Mireya.
Boston is a co-captain of the Atlanta color guard team along with Amber Westbrook. She is also a DECA vice president, a student council member, a Leo Club member and a member of the National Honor Society.
She is a member of the band that made school history by placing third in the state marching competition. Boston was recognized by the College Board for Outstanding Academic Achievement through the National Rural and Small-Town Recognition Program. She and Amelia Jones have advanced to the State DECA competition every year of high school.
Boston plans to attend the University of Alabama to pursue a degree in nursing.
KAILEE AMMONS
Kailee is the 17-year-old daughter of Skeeter and Dee Ammons, and is the granddaughter of Mike and Brenda Ammons, Gary and Vicki Jernigan, Steve and Janet Brown, and the late Gary Wade.
Kailee attends Church on the Rock in Texarkana and her hobbies include TJ-Maxx trips with Alli, Aleesha, and Gracie, traveling with Dubie, late-night sweet treats with Boston and Amelia, watching Gilmore Girls and baking cookies with her mom, golfing, sewing, and hunting with her dad.
Kailee is a DECA chapter Vice President and participates in cheer, student council, yearbook, and accounting UIL.
She is a member of the National Honors Society, an All- American Cheerleader, and an All-Star Cheer 3A Alternate. She has competed three years in a row at the DECA state conference and has competed at the National Level with Atlanta varsity cheer.
Upon graduating high school, Kailee will receive a real estate license. In the fall, she will attend Texas State to pursue a master’s degree in marketing and then further her education in interior design.
