ANONYMOUS QUESTION from a AUTONOMOUS PERSON

Q: How long is the Black Bayou?

A: The Black Bayou is a river that runs in both Texas and Louisiana. It is 66.6 miles long and rises in Cass County, seven miles north of Atlanta. It then flows south past Atlanta and southeast into Caddo Parish, Louisiana where it continues southeast until it reaches the Red River floodplain. There it curves south and southwest to its ultimate destination, Caddo Lake, where Twelvemile Bayou is formed. It should be noted that Black Bayou is a tributary of Twelvemile Bayou. Twelvemile Bayou feeds Cross Bayou and thus feeds the Red River and the Mississippi River. Black Bayou averages 362 cubic feet per second.
