Aloha Linden!

Aloha means so much more than hello and goodbye in Hawaiian. It is an exclamation of love, peace, compassion, affection, and mercy. It is a word of feeling and such complex and profound sentiment. That is why Nancy Snodgrass-Thomas chose the name Aloha Linden Candy Shop and More as the name of her candy shop. It shows the depth of her love for Linden and making sweet treats.

Originally from California, she moved to Linden a year and a half ago and decided to try out Pop Up Week in 2018. While successful, the timing wasn’t right to open a dedicated shop just yet. A year later she once again participated in Pop Up week and a week later was moved into a permanent shop which is, indeed, Hawaiian themed and celebrated her grand opening on Second Saturday.

All of her treats are made fresh every day and use all-natural, locally sourced, and organic ingredients when available. Some of her more popular sweets include rum balls and peanutbutter balls. She also does custom orders and will even make old family recipes upon request.

You can find Nancy and her son Jerry Tuesday through Friday 12-7 and Saturdays 10-8 in their shop located inside 121 W Houston St. Those wanting a custom order or have questions can call Nancy at 661-208-7340.
