Atlanta High School students William Porterfield and Alexander Jones spent a couple of days competing in State Policy Debate against the top debaters in the state of Texas. When all was said and done the Atlanta duo finished second in the state. They competed in four rounds last week in prelims and joined 11 teams in the octo-finals Mar. 16. Each round was an elimination round and the boys from Atlanta debated all four rounds making it to finals.
