National Night Out

Everyone is invited to attend National Night Out from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Cass County Law Enforcement and Justice Center located at 604 TX Hwy 8 in Linden.

Those who attend will have an opportunity to meet County Elected Officials, Linden City Officials, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders and Smokey the Bear.

Come out for a fun time where there will be free hot dogs, a free bounce house, free sno-cones, emergency service vehicles, a helicopter, motorcycles, a car show (display only, no judging) and informative booths.

National Night Out started in 1984 as a way for communities to come together, get to know their local first responders and law enforcement, learn a lot about safety within their homes and neighborhoods, and have some fun while doing it. Kids and adults alike are all encouraged to participate in the many activities designed to not only teach about safety but also encourage participation in their local communities.
