Trammel’s Trace DAR presents Youth Citizenship Awards

Each year the Trammel’s Trace Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution solicits nominations from Cass County teachers in order to choose students who best exemplify characteristics of leadership, dependability, and patriotism.

From these nominations, one eighthgrade student from each middle school is chosen to receive the DAR Youth Citizenship Award.

Zachary Easley was presented this award at the Bloomburg Junior High Completion Ceremony on May 15 by Charlotte Evans and Traci Jones.

Kerri Ann Rhodes of Hughes Springs Junior High School received this award on May 16 from DAR member Brinda Mandella.

Jordyn Dowell received this award on May 18 at the Avinger Awards Ceremony from DAR members Nancy Gordon and Judith Salmon.

On May 18, Mallory Hamilton was presented this award at the Morris Upchurch Middle School Academic Awards Ceremony in Queen City by Charlotte Evans and Cathie Maley.

Josh Klaver received this award at the Mae Luster Stephens Junior High School Awards and Advancement Celebration in Linden on May 23 from DAR members Suzanne Drew and Traci Jones.
