Texarkana College Presidential Scholarships for QC students

Texarkana College representative, Dustin Austin, came to Queen City High School on Wednesday, May 12, to present scholarships.

The first scholarships he presented were the Presidential Scholarships. Recipients are selected from area high school seniors who are in the top 10 of their class or top 15 percent of their class and have at least 3.25 unweighted GPA.

Texarkana College Presidential Scholars are automatically admitted to the Texarkana Honors College and awarded paid tuition, fees and books for up to an Associate’s Degree or 60 semester hours with a total value of $10,000.

QCHS students receiving this honor are: Gracie Weeks, Claire Bates, Tallen Boone, Madison Parker, Gracie Orr, Rylee Blythe, Mallory Abbitt, Hannah Fitts, Emilee Henry and Sarah Henry.
