State DECA
Atlanta High DECA traveled to Houston, TX to compete in State CDC February 24-26. Texas DECA is the largest in the entire association with over 16,000 members and highly competitive with students from public and private schools. Atlanta was proud to have all 16 members make it to State CDC where they competed in business related challenges. Our very own Landon Moore, a junior and first year DECA member, competed in Sports and Entertainment Marketing against a large number of great competitors. Landon achieved DECA glory by winning a place in the International Competition. The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year. More than 20,000 high school students, teacher-advisors, business professionals and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. Internationals will be held in Atlanta, GA in late April where all the best from the rest of United States, as well as countries including Germany, Canada, Guam, Mexico, Spain and others compete against each other. Advisor Tyler Johnson and Atlanta High DECA is excited about this opportunity and the future of our club creating business-minded entrepreneurs and leaders for our community.
