Rebecca’s Pantry dedicates new sign
Rebecca’s Pantry first opened their doors on July 2, 2007, a little over fourteen years ago. The pantry was founded on an Old Testament scripture, Isaiah 58:10 “And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”
We know that our good deeds of service do not save us, but our faith lacks sincerity if it doesn’t reach out to others. It is pleasing to God when we apply His word to our society, our town where we live when we are letting our light shine. All through God’s word we read we are to share what we have with others, we are to do good unto all.
We praise God for how He has kept our doors open and ministering in Atlanta, Texas for fourteen years. He has blessed Rebecca’s Pantry and the ministry has truly been favored by God. On this day, as we gathered around our new sign, we want to re-commit and dedicate our service to God and to this community. We want the ministry of Rebecca’s Pantry to bring glory to His name.
