The 2022 J.K. Hileman Elementary Science Fair results are as follows: First Place - “Fruit Tricity” by Maggie Rudel, Second Place - “Hold the Mold” by Jordan Young, Third Place - “Coca-Cola VS Mentos” by Andrea Stout, Fourth Place - “Glowing Water” by Kirbie Wright and Fifth Place - “Growing Cummy Bears” by Lillian Guthrie.

Special awards were as follows: Superintendent’s Award - “Playdough Electricity” by Arriana Simmons, Principal Award - “Bristle Bot Madness” by Kutter Mitchell, Most Unique Award - “Color Change Roses” by Claire Clayton (voted by students), Best Display - “Pop Pop Popcorn” by Jack Sumpter and “What Makes Lava Rise?” by Israel Hancock (voted by students).
