Jesus Is Seeking
Last devotional, I wrote about satan seeking to devour. I want to write now about someone else who is seeking; someone full of love and mercy, who desires for all to be saved, someone who gave His life; a ransom for you and me, who brings life instead of destruction.
His name is Jesus, the Messiah, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Wonderful, Counselor, Hope of the World, our comfort, our joy and our help in time of trouble. The bread of life, the door, the true vine, the truth, the life and the way. The lily of the valley, bright and morning star, Rose of Sharon, the fairest of ten thousand, a faithful God and one who is altogether lovely.
My strong tower, defense, rock, refuge, strength, salvation, the Lamb of God, Lion of Judah, Good Shepherd and Lord of Hosts.
The great I AM, Lord of Lords, Kings of Kings, Almighty God. The Savior of the world, my Redeemer, the one true God, full of grace and truth, ready to forgive and coming back for me! Praise the Lord!
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:17)
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John10:10)
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10)
“For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” (Luke 9:56)
“Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup (dine) with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)
Jesus is seeking for someone to dine with. Do you hear the knock? Do you hear His voice? Will you open the door?
Give him a chance to be your Savior; He is waiting with open arms.
