Hughes Springs Reverse Parade

Hughes Springs’ Annual Christmas Parade was cancelled, so several determined business people decided to get together and plan a Reverse Parade where all along First Street was decorated and traffic was slowed to 5 mph, cars could drive through and enjoy the display as many times as they wanted. There was a J-W Tree Service bucket truck with Santa, a decorated flatbed 18 wheeler courtesy of Barr 4P, the Grinch and his sleigh at Whoville courtesy of Global Consulting, a lit-up monster truck (Extended Ego Mega Party) courtesy of Terry Insurance & Real Estate, Santa, Ms. Claus, and lights galore! There was a steady stream of traffic enjoying the festive displays from 6-7 on Thursday the 17th.
