Digging Christmas at the garden club
On Thursday the 21st the Linden Garden Club had its once monthly meeting. Items that were discussed included a reminder of the lighting of the Christmas tree on Dec. 5th .
There will also be a parade that evening and the Garden Club will participate with a float. They will also have a booth set up for hot chocolate. Also discussed was the Wildflower Trails coming up in April 2020. This will be the 50th anniversary of Wildflower Trails so it will be an extra special celebration.
The Garden Club has made seed bombs and has been planting them all around Linden ensuring that the Wildflower Trail is blooming with wildflowers come April. The ladies ended the meeting by decorating the outside of the Garden Club building for Christmas. The Linden Garden Club meets once monthly on the third Thursday at 300 E. Houston St. Lunch is served at 11:30 and the meeting starts at noon. The ladies would like to encourage all those who have a love of greenery and natures beauty to attend.
