Chamber holds Amazing Acres RV Park ribbon cutting

On Nov. 2, the Atlanta Area Chamber of commerce celebrated the new owners of Amazing Acres RV Park with a ribbon cutting and chili lunch.

“We had such a wonderful time celebrating Amazing Acres RV Park at their official Ribbon Cutting this week,” said Chamber President Jill Crocker.

New owners Gary and Amanda Ester moved to Atlanta earlier this year, Crocker said.

“Gary and Amanda Ester have already become such an integral part of our community- attending almost every ribbon cutting, participating in Chamber events, and even volunteering to help at the Glow Run,” Crocker said. “They truly love Atlanta! Please help support them by recommending their beautiful, safe, and clean RV Park to your family and friends.”

Crocker was highly impressed with Gary and Amanda’s dedication to the community and couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the couple and their lovely park.

Gary said he and Amanda met in Redding, California, with their love of the outdoors bringing them together. When the couple decided they wanted to invest in an RV park, they traveled the states until finally coming upon their spot a couple of years back—Amazing Acres at 405 S. (Bogie) Boggie St.

“We absolutely love it here,” Gary Ester said.

He and Amanda are very involved in the community and have come to every ribbon cutting since joining the chamber—-even when Amanda had surgery on her leg, according to Crocker.

“For years, we have traveled the country during the summer with our travel trailer and our cat, Hunter. We love the RV nomad life,” said the Esters. “This love inspired us to consider park ownership as we looked forward to retirement. We wanted to stay active and to support other people’s love for the RV lifestyle.”

“Amazing Acres is the perfect spot for us; we are close to family and the central location is ideal for travelers going in any direction. Stop and see us as you pass through or if you want to stay a bit and see why we say, “Feels like home”.

We look forward to seeing you,” they added.
