L-K Homecoming Court 2019

Kevin Lynn Burns

Kevin is the 17-year-old son of Stephen and Elizabeth Burns. He is the grandson of Charlie Horn, Kathy Horn, and Judy Burns.

Kevin is a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

As a freshman, he was an active member of Student Council, played tennis, played football, was on the A&B Honor Roll and made it to regionals in golf. During his sophomore year Kevin made it to regionals in golf, was an active member of Student Council, played tennis, was on the A&B Honor Roll, was named the Most Outstanding Chemistry Student and was named the Most Improved English II Honors Student.

As a junior he was an active member of Student Council, was the Vice President of National Honor Society, was on the A&B Honor Roll, made it to regionals in golf, made it to regionals in tennis, played JV football and was named the Most Improved U.S. History Dual Credit Student.

In his senior year, Kevin is the Vice President of National Honor Society, is an active member of Student Council, plays varsity football, will play golf and will play tennis. His hobbies include: playing tennis and golf with family and friends, shopping with his momma, fishing with his daddy and spending time with his girlfriend. After high school, Kevin plans to pursue an Accounting Degree at the University of Texas at Tyler where he plans on obtaining a Master’s Degree.

Ladavion Te’Sean Johnson

Ladavion is the 17-yearold son of Larry and Shornkedra Johnson. He is the grandson of Glenn Jackson and Lena Larry.

Ladavion is a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and attends First Baptist Church in Linden.

During his freshman year he was named Most Outstanding Algebra Student and Most Improved Robotics and BIM Student, was a state qualifier in the 4x200m relay in track, played varsity football, was named Second Team All-District Outside Linebacker in football, helped the basketball team to a playoff appearance, was named to the Second Team for All-District basketball and earned Newcomer of the Year status in basketball.

As a sophomore Ladavion was named Most Outstanding World History Student, was a regional qualifier in the 100m dash for the track team, helped the basketball team to a playoff appearance, earned First Team All-District Point Guard honors, was the District Offensive MVP in football and was named the Second Team All-State Running Back.

During his junior year he was named a First Team All-District Running Back, was named the Offensive MVP and First Team All-District Point Guard in basketball, was the district champion in the 100m dash, was a regional qualifier in the 100m dash, the 4x100m relay and the 4x200m relay, was named the Most Outstanding Algebra II Student and named the Most Improved Chemistry Student.

In his senior year, Ladavion is playing his fourth year on the varsity football team, will play basketball, will run track, is serving as a senior football captain and plans to maintain all A’s the rest of the school year. His hobbies include: playing video games, watching You-Tube and hanging out with his friends on weekends. After high school Ladavion plans to attend college and major in Business and hopes to continue playing football.

Trey Deuce Schuler

Trey is the 17-year-old son of Trey and Patricia Schuler. He is the grandson of Sidney Schuler, Angie Halland, Jack Bailey, and Deborah Smith.

Trey attends First Baptist Church in Linden.

In his freshman year he played JV football, played varsity baseball, played in the band, lifted in powerlifting, was a member of Student Council, was named Newcomer of the Year for baseball and earned the Upand-Coming Award.

As a sophomore, Trey played varsity football, played varsity baseball, lifted in powerlifting, played in the band, earned First Team All-District Second Baseman of the Year status and won the Utility man Award for football.

During his junior year, he placed second overall in powerlifting at the Texas High Meet, was named First Team All-District Catcher, earned Honorable Mention All-East Texas Catcher status, was Honorable Mention for the football team, played in the band and was the Most Improved Welder II Student.

In his senior year Trey plays varsity football for the third consecutive year, plays in the band for the fourth straight year, will play varsity baseball for the fourth straight year, will participate in powerlifting for the fourth year, is serving as a senior football captain and has been on the A&B Honor Roll all three years of his high school life.

His hobbies include fishing, playing baseball with the boys, enjoying time with his family and spreading God’s Grace.

After high school, Trey plans to attend college to play baseball and major in Biology to become a Marine Scientist.

Davion Tyrell Tyson

Davion is the 17-year-old son of Anthony Tyson and Trinity Owens. He is the grandson of Mary Miller and David and Gwendolyn Owens.

Davion attends Salem Baptist Church.

As a freshman, he played varsity baseball, played JV football, played JV basketball, was part of the JV track team and won the Up-and-Coming Award for football.

In his sophomore year, Davion was on Student Council, was named Most Improved Biology Student, ran varsity track, made it to area in the 100m hurdles, played varsity basketball, played varsity football and played varsity baseball.

During his junior year, he made it to regionals in the 100m hurdles and 4x200m relay for the varsity track team and played wide receiver on the varsity football team.

In his senior year Davion is the starting wide receiver on the varsity football team, will play varsity basketball, will play varsity baseball, is serving as a senior football captain and will run varsity track.

His hobbies include fishing with friends, hunting, shoe shopping and spending time with his uncles in Houston.

After high school Davion plans to attend college to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering.
