Grace Morgan Broussard
Grace is the 17-year-old daughter of Barry Broussard and Scott and Gina Corley. She is the granddaughter of the late Bennie and Bonnie Broussard, and the late Jon Fant and Brenda Bender.
She is a member of the Cass County Cowboy Church and Pine Crest Baptist Church.
During her freshman year, Grace was on the Student Council, played varsity softball, played JV volleyball, went to district and state in DECA UIL Spelling, was a varsity cheerleader, earned First Team Academic All-District honors in softball and was the Most Improved English I Honors student.
In her sophomore year, she was a state finalist and international qualifier in DECA, was inducted into the National Honor Society, was a varsity cheerleader, placed third in the science fair and went to regionals, played JV volleyball, played varsity softball, was on the team that placed first in UIL Spelling, earned First Team Academic All-District honors in softball, placed 11th in the state in UIL state championship competition and was the Most Outstanding Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance student.
During her junior year she was in the National Honor Society, on Student Council, a state qualifier in DECA, was on the varsity cheer squad, played varsity softball, earned Second Team All-District honors for the designated player position, earned First Team Academic All-District honors in softball, competed at the UIL state championship for cheer with her teammates and took three dual-credit classes for college.
In her senior year Grace is in the National Honor Society, on Student Council, plans on making it to the international stage in DECA, will play varsity softball, is on the varsity cheer team, will compete in academic UIL, will compete in UIL state championship cheer competition, is taking five dual-credit college classes, will graduate with the classification of being a sophomore in college, is currently ranked number five in her graduating class and has maintained a 4.0 GPA all throughout high school.
Her hobbies include: cheering, tumbling, going to church, hanging with friends and family and most of all annoying her friends because she’s so loud. After high school Grace plans to attend Southern Arkansas University (SAU), major in nursing and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She also plans to cheer for the Muleriders, further her education and get her nurse practitioner degree so she can work in the neonatal unit.
Jessie Marie Haley
Jessie is the 17-year-old daughter of Chance Haley and Kelly Buckland. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Cathy Watson, Stan Buckland, John, and Trish Haley and Erik and Linda Maloy.
Jessie is a member of the First Baptist Church.
During her freshman year, she was chosen as a class favorite, was in cheer, was on Student Council,
played in the band, played volleyball and was a regional quarter-finalist in tennis.
As a sophomore Jessie was chosen as a class favorite, was in cheer, played in the band, played volleyball and was a district champion and regional quarter-finalist in tennis.
During her junior year, she was in the National Honor Society, played varsity volleyball, took part in the blood drive twice, earned All-Academic status in volleyball and was a district champion and regional quarter-finalist in tennis.
In her senior year, Jessie is in the National Honor Society, plays varsity volleyball, will play tennis for the fourth year, has received an All-Tournament medal at Leverett’s Chapel and has been on the A&B Honor Roll all three years of her high school life.
Her hobbies include: watching Netflix, playing her guitar and singing and hanging out with her boyfriend. After high school, Jessie plans on going to college to become an Occupational Therapist.
Jaici Briann Smallwood
Jaici is the 17-year-old daughter of Marcus and Audi Smallwood. She is the granddaughter of Homer and Judy Smallwood, the late Angela Hayes and the late Doug Stanley.
Jaici attends Pinecrest Baptist Church.
During her freshman year, she was a majorette, played varsity softball, played JV volleyball, was in FFA, played in the Roaming Band from Tigerland and was named Most Improved Info. Tech Student. As a sophomore Jaici was a majorette, played varsity softball, played JV volleyball, played golf, ran track, took part in trapshooting, was in FFA, was named First Team All-District Utility player for the softball team and was inducted into the National Honor Society.
During her junior year she played varsity volleyball, varsity softball, played golf, was in FFA, was part of the trapshooting team, was in the National Honor Society, won showmanship awards at county shows, was chosen as the Most Improved Physics Student, was named Second Team All-District Outfielder in softball and placed first in golf as an individual district champion and as district champs with her teammates.
In her senior year Jaici will play varsity volleyball, play varsity softball, play golf, take part in trap shooting, be in FFA, has already been a Mascot All-American nominee, will have raised pigs all four years in FFA, is in the National Honor Society and has been on the A&B Honor Roll all three years of her high school life. Her hobbies include hunting, fishing, water skiing, softball and raising pigs.
After high school Jaici plans to attend Tyler Junior College (TJC) to become a Physical Therapist.
Marissa Kay Tyson
Marissa is the 18-year-old daughter of Brent Tyson and Joseph and Rachel Swanson. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Susan Mc-Gough, Harold and Patti Tyson and Katherine Eaglin.
As a freshman, she was named Outstanding Woodwind in band and placed first at district in Informative and Extemporaneous Speaking.
During her sophomore year Marissa was named Outstanding Woodwind in band, was the eighth chair in symphonic band at Four States, earned All-Region band honors in symphonic band, was in the Top 16 in the 2A state debate tournament, was a member of the National Honor Society, advanced to internationals for DECA, placed second in Persuasive and Extemporaneous Speaking, was a DECA state winner in Dallas, scored a First Division for memorized class one solo and advanced to state solo and ensemble.
As a junior she was named Outstanding Woodwind in band, named Most Valuable Player in band, was first chair in symphonic band at Four States, was a DECA state qualifier, placed third in Persuasive and Extemporaneous Speaking, was in the Top 8 in the 2A state debate tournament, was a member of the National Honor Society, earned a spot on the Wind Ensemble Band at All-Region and was a Drum Major for the Roaming Band from Tigerland.
In her senior year Marissa will compete at UIL competitions for Debate, take part in DECA, take part in speech events, hopes to be a member of the National Honor Society, will compete for high spots at All-Region, is a Drum Major for the Roaming Band from Tigerland, will compete in solo and ensemble and compete in Four States. Her hobbies include: going out on outings with her best friend Healani, practicing complicated etudes and watching true crime YouTube videos.
After high school, Marissa plans to attend San Jacinto College in Houston to pursue a career in Legal Studies.
