Linden Heritage Foundation Hosts MLK Day Celebration

On Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2 p.m., the Linden Heritage Foundation met in the Courtroom of the historic Cass County Courthouse, in downtown Linden, 100 E. Houston Street, for a special event during the week of the celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Darrell Barrett, a 1973 L-K High Graduate, and active member of the Linden Community, will bring to light the accomplishments of three former Lindenites, including the late Dr. Arcelia M. Johnson-Fannin, William “Bill” Harper, and James A. Northcutt, M.D.

Following the program, the Linden Heritage Foundation will have its Annual Membership Meeting and a reception with refreshments will follow. For additional information please contact Sam Higdon at samlhigdon@icloud.com.
