Salespeople pushy, not illegal

Cass County Pct. 2 Constable Jerry Goodson recently released a statement regarding some apparently pushy salespeople in the area. The activities and tactics used by the individuals had warranted concern from numerous residents in the precinct as to whether or not they were behaving legally.

DPS names new assistant director of driver license division

TxDOT headed ‘Fleet Forward’

AUSTIN - The Texas Department of Transportation is cutting costs and moving the savings back into roads through a program called Fleet Forward.

Linden Police Blotter

Linden Police Department received 94 calls for service in July. 
Officers issued 75 traffic citations and worked three accidents. Officers worked four crimes against property. 
Criminal mischief was reported in the 500 block of South Main Street.

Atlanta Police Blotter

Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Loop 59 in reference to a Robbery Aug . 14 at 2:10 a.m. Upon arrival it was learned that a female was approached, as she was getting out of a vehicle, by a black male wearing a black ski mask. The male pointed a black pistol at her and then grabbed her purse that was on her shoulder. The male then fled on foot heading west.
